Enemy Information
(Enemy pictured: Easy difficulty tier.)
Appearances
Goblins typically spawn in groups.

In all Modes, Difficulties and Modifiers.
In Tests of the Demonlord, goblins spawn after each successful stun of the Demonlord with the generators.
Goblin
The Goblin is the first and most basic enemy players encounter. It holds a small club and will swing it to deal minor damage. Goblins typically spawn in groups.
In Rift Mode, rifted goblins are larger in size which may allow them to take hits for more important targets.
Elemental Alignment
If a Goblin has an Elemental Alignment he hits twice with each attack 1 hit physical the second hit his element effectivly doubling his damage output.
When goblins spawn with an Elemental alignment, towers of the same element become unable to target or damage them. If a player attacks these goblins with a weapon of the same element, they will only receive 25% damage. Furthermore, effects with the same elemental nature no longer apply to them.
However, the elemental resistance of these goblins can be temporarily or permanently removed using the Strength Drain Aura or the Chance to Nullify passive for a duration of up to 10 seconds.
Rifted enemies have -100% fusion armor, making them vulnerable to fusion damage. Additionally, once enemies become rifted, they can't gain the resistance of another element.

Qoute from the Kickstarter
As we get further into the design and approach to DD:A we are also thinking about what would make the most entertaining interaction with enemy characters. Specifically with the redesign of the Goblin, the use of rag-doll physics makes sense to add elements that are floppy like large ears. Variation is another aspect that keeps things fun. Killing swarms of the same exact Goblin gets a little tiresome. So we are going to mix things up by having random elements spawn with every Goblin. This mixed with skin color and scale variations make a horde of Goblins feel like just that!
