The Lycan is a special enemy introduced in Dungeon Defenders: Awakened. These werewolves are encountered in maps from Act 4 and beyond. They are quite tough and ferocious while also having an ability to support their enemy allies.

Enemy Information
- Gamemode Appearances: Campaign and Survival in maps from Act 4 and 5. Test Mode.
- Enemy Class: Melee.
- Threat of Core Damage: High.
- Behavior and Abilities: Enemy buffing Howl ability and enraged behavior activates when damaged.

Behavior And Abilities
When spawned, the Lycan will slowly shuffle toward a core, swiping their claws at any hero or defenses that stands in their way.
After taking damage, there are two things Lycans will do:

1. The Lycan will start howling, which buffs all nearby enemy, granting damage reduction (roughly about 20-ish percent) and increasing the damage they deal for a few seconds.

2. The Lycan will get on all fours and start charging towards any nearby players. Eventually this will wear off and they will be back to shuffling on their two feet again.
This process will begin again as soon as they take the next damage after the buffs wears off.

- Fodder - The Lycan is placed 10th in priority.
- Special - The Lycan is placed 2nd in priority.
- Air - The Lycan is placed 4th in priority.
- Strong - The Lycan is placed 3rd in priority.
