Heroes are the protagonists in Etheria, defending the Eternia crystals from the Old Ones. Each hero is a playable character, with unique abilities, strengths and weaknesses. You must use a combination of heroes to successfully clear maps, grow stronger, and accumulate more loot and gold.
Each hero has 5 unique defenses and 3 or more abilities. The only exception to this is the Rogue who is purely a skill based hero and does not have any defenses.
By Default:
Heroes have different Stats that can be increased by leveling up or equipping armor.

All six heroes in your deck will receive xp at the same rate, having less wont funnel that into a specific hero. This means that you should always run with 6 heroes!
You can have 6 heroes in your deck at any given time. Something you may not know is that you can right click and click swap on any of them, this allows for more than the 6 slots in your deck and can be quite useful if you plan to try different builds with different selections of heroes. Any towers placed before swapping heroes will remain.
One thing to note about this is that any hero not in your deck will lose the stats from set bonuses and item effects, and the 20% bonus tower damage. If you have "Fusion Towers" and remove the hero from your deck the towers will no longer be fusion.
The heroes of Etheria are equipped with some cosmetics, earned through different methods.
