Enemies belong to the Old Ones, and are the foes you face as heroes whilst you play any given map.
Enemies have basic AI; they desire to follow the lane they spawn in, moving towards and eventually destroying your Eternia crystal/s. Enemies will engage with heroes if the hero is within the enemy's range and will continue to attack the hero until the enemy dies or the player breaks out of the enemy's range.
When not engaged with the player, the enemy will engage with any applicable defenses on their path towards the Eternia crystal/s (ie. not auras or traps as these defenses are un-targetable by enemies).
Some enemies, like the goblin, spawn in every map. Others, like the spider, only spawn in nightmare. Please see the enemy's associated wiki page to understand where the enemy spawns.
