Before Playing any older Version it is highly Recommended to make a Backup of your Saved Folder located in %localappdata%\DDS
Playing older Version may Corrupt the Save, Delete Items and Progression you have been warned.
Note: Dungeon Defenders Awakened had 3 cuts between saves thats why you expierence a Fresh Start

To make sure you are able to play any Version please follow these steps.
- Download the Version with a Steam Depot Downloader of your Choice
- Make sure the Game is Located in your Steam Library and the Folder is correctly Named Dungeon Defenders Awakened
- To avoid Potential Updating its Recommended to Start the Game with the DDS.exe from the Folder
- If the Game reapeatly crashes on launch Delete or Rename the DDS Folder located in %localappdata% and let the Game create a new one

You cannot change the path to which the depot downloads; however, you can "trick" Steam into downloading depots wherever you want using Junction Points.
What are Junction Points? Junction Points are a type of symbolic link unique to the NTFS file system.
If Steam was installed on your C: drive, and you wanted to download the depot to D:, you would do the following:
app_379430 folder, if any, in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content.D: named app_379430, such as D:\app_379430.mklink /J "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_379430" "D:\app_379430"download_depot command in the Steam Console.If you do not know how to open the cmd shell, press Win+R, type cmd, and press Enter.
